The search for a tricycle
"I am 72 years old and live with my wife in the beautiful, rural town of Haren. I have been painting since I was 7 years old and I am into poetry. I did a lot of sports: football, running, athletics, full contact karate, table tennis and cycling.
I used to cycle on a Sparta women's bike. I wanted a tricycle, because walking is difficult, as is getting on and off a bike, and I suffered from dizziness. I ended up at Van Raam through the WMO (Social Support Act), I then consulted the website. I also looked at the various models. I was able to find what I was looking for, the Maxi Comfort tricycle with low entry."

"My tricycle was ordered by WMO Groningen and delivered to me by Medipoint (but my dealer is now Welzorg). Medipoint first came with a tricycle to practice and see on what to pay attention to. The service was excellent and I received a good explanation. The tricycle has already had maintenance from Welzorg.
I own the Van Raam Maxi Comfort tricycle with low entry for almost a year now. I like the tricycle very much, I'm touring everywhere again, I feel safe, secure and confident again. I use the tricycle to go to certain shops, and to go out; just for a ride. I don't cycle long distances, 20 to 50 km a week I think."

"The best part is that I gave a lady information here about buying a Van Raam bike. I also get many comments from people I meet: "That's amazing and so great that this bike is available". And then you have a full conversation. But I sometimes also meet guys who say: "ha ha ha, that man rides a tricycle". Well, so be it. I don't care.
I like everything about the tricycle and never experience any problems. I quickly got comfortable with it. My overall rating of the tricycle is a 10 ouf of 10. I actually just rest when I cycle, as if I am carried on a seat. I have no negative things and positive things are just the whole tricycle."
